problems with lost conection on map change
Sometimes when i change districts or map to a different town then the one im already in. i get disconected from the game and it says my to check my conection.. but my conection is fine.. this all started after i recently did a disk cleanup and defragmentation.
this game is getting really gay with all the lag and connection issues.. if anyone has any sugestions on how to fix this please help me out |

Well the bitch of it is that i never really had lag untill this happend.. now my actuall connection is being disrupted by somthing everytime i change a map.. all i did new recently was disc defrage and spybot so it cant be my end.. it has to be server side right?

Same thing is happening to me. It has never happened except for today, 3 times in a row, so I just got off. Recently I have noted extreme lag in areas, and it is pissing me off. If this lag continues I might not buy Factions, because if Factions has anything near the amount of lag and disconnects that Guild Wars does, it will ruin the experience for me.

at this moment, i can go anywhere except amnoon oasis which hangs at loading and eventually error 005. Any characters already there will not load and get the same error.

I can't go anywhere with one account... haven't tried the other account. This sucks. Ah well, just means I'll have to read some.
**UPDATE** My other account is fine. I guess it's just too full of pwn to be bothered by some simple err=5.

I just started having trouble, as well.
I was in Deldrimer War Camp on my Warrior and my connection got interrupted. Now when I try to log in with my warrior it freezes at the "War Camp Loading" Screen and I get an error. |

Wow...how odd.....and frustrating...
Warrior: Stays at the "Deldrimer War Camp" loading screen, then I get an error. Ele: Stays at the "Grotto" loading screen, then I get an error. Well I feel stupid now. I checked my firewall's logs, and found that for some reason it started blocking all GuildWars.exe activity. Not able to leave/enter any district but HA D3 - this is getting annoying quickly as D3 is not booming with life often
